Why is Yahoo Answers being discontinued?

I find it to be a great tool and go-to resource

    There are too many trolls and some of them are hate mongers. A lot of internet services are going through changes to try and stop misinformation and inflammatory messages. The deletion of this service is just part of the reshaping of the internet into a form that prevents use by extremist.
