First, you may have to watch out for out of state quarantine rules

if you are traveling to another state.

However, some states are removing these rules.

In New York, the rules are now only recommendations.

There may be exception to these rules if you are vaccinated or

    got tested.

If there are no state quarantine rules, then

these are the many usual things you may see:

    1. You must wear a masks.

    2.  No breakfast buffet  , often they have to go breakfast bags with

a muffin and apple or similar.

    3. Exercise Room is closed.

    4.  Swimming Pool may be closed.

    5.  There may a line asking to 3 stand a few feet from the check-in

    counter.

    6. The hotel restaurant may be closed or only have take-out.

    6.  Maybe common restrooms will be closed, but not  where I went.

The above things are usual.  I have staying hotels just 4 times

during the pandemic, so I am no expert.

One odd thing in Ohio at one time,

some hotels indicated they  would only  take  people

who were staying at least 3 days.  I think at the time

they were reserving room for first responder who

    wanted to quarantine
