Is it reasonable to say that if you shoot at people and flee the police your odds of getting shot go up significantly ?

I'd say that getting shot is a fairly reasonably expectable consequence of the activity of using guns in the middle of the night. Not much reasonable about getting shot for driving a car. Shooting a gun and fleeing, though? Kind of what you ought to expect.

You'll have to be more specific. They go up significantly from what they might be if you were eating an ice cream in the park?

I just watched a body cam of a cop shooting an 8 year old girl because he thought she was a big mean scary dog so he emptied his clip into her and walked away.
