Is my inability to become an Australian, NZ, US or Canadian citizen a major life disadvantage in any sense?

Most likely I will always remain both a UK & a citizen of an EU country, Finland. Is being from old world just as good as being non European?

Not being able to be a citizen of New Zealand is a tragedy for us all. But the US is about the last place any thinking person would want to be right now.

Stop judging yourself based on nationality. That is your biggest deficit in life.

It might be.  Life is pretty good in those countries (USA - a bit iffy), but it isn't all that bad in the UK, nor Finland.  Better in Australia, Canada, or New Zealand, but not by a great deal.

You're lucky you can't become a US citizen
