will my cat be ok?

My cat is 15 years old, and has never gone for long drives, or on airplane rides before.

My time to move is coming closer, and im still not sure of the destination, but it will probably be something like a 4 hour plane ride. Im so scared of how he will react and if he will be okay. I dont want him to die of a heart attack or something.. I know it sounds silly, but he gets anxious quickly. So will he be ok?

I brought 2 cats from London to Orlando.  The doctor gave them each half a valium for the flight.  They made the journey just fine but you can expect your cat to be GRUMPY AF when he gets off the plane.  I had to take mine through Customs in NY and they were so grumpy that the Customs agent just stamped the paper and waved me through.  He didn't want to open the cat carriers and look in.  Probably thought he would get attacked.  They travel in a pressurized ROOM on international flights, I'm not sure how they fly on a domestic flight.  If at all possible, talk to your cat's doctor about a light sedative for the journey.  But your cat will be fine flying.

If he's in good health, he should be able to make it all right. He probably won't like it, though, but he'll get over it.
