    In order to be invertible, you can't have the same y-value for any values of x in the domain. In other words, if you drew a horizontal line, it couldn't touch the graph more than once.

    Given the symmetry of the graph, most of the time there are *4* input values that give the same output value.

    From -1 to 3, the graph goes up and comes down and you have places where you have the same y-value.

    From -7 to 5, it's even worse with it coming down, then up, then down, then up and again there are multiple places with the same y-value.

    But if you restrict the graph to a portion from 4 to 7, for example, it only goes up and there are no places where you have the same y-value.

    Answer:B. 4 ≤ x ≤ 7
