I have been to 2 restaurants and had similar dishes. One at a Sushi/Hibachi restaurant and then at the famous PF Changs. It is a Japanese eggplant in some kind of dark sweet sauce, maybe with soy sauce but it is a lot thicker. I am a pretty good cook and do it a lot, and I have tried making it with Hoisin sauce which is what I thought it may have been and it did not come out right. Does anyone know how to make this dish, I know it is famous because I have seen it on several different menus, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese....someone out there has to know how to make it! I really love this vegetarian dish and want to make it at home, it is cheaper than going to eat it at a restaurant!

I bought a plastic pool from Wal-Mart and the bottom of it and the floor is slimy and slippery. I thought it was too small for adding any chemicals to it but I have realized I may need some. Here is a link to what my pool looks like but it is 8ft X 33in. not as big as the one on the picture but the same style and brand of pool. I have absolutely no clue what to buy. I also do not want to put too much stuff in it because it is mainly for my 2 year old to use and he has very delicate skin, he's allergic to a lot of things. My baby has had whitish poop for the past two days, along with fever and today after it was too late to go to the doctor, he vomited....is this normal? He is 16 months old and is only breastfed 2 times a day in the morning and at night. He has not been eating much for the past 2 days...should I be really alarmed and take him to the doctor in the morning or should I just give it one more day?

I have a friend who would really benefit from some sort of bariatic surgery, and don't answer she needs to stop eating and exercise cause it is too late for that, she is basically bed ridden at this point. She does not have the means to afford the surgery and although we are trying to collect money in the community it is a very slow process and we are not getting anywhere with that. I was wondering if anyone knows of those research laboratories or clinics that basically treat you for free in order to participate in researches and stuff. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Preferably here in Texas because travel is difficult, if you know somewhere else that is ok too, maybe we can figure something out. Thank you!

I am making large figurines out of fondant and they are taking a long time to dry and I have to turn the cake in by tomorrow at 3pm. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do so that the figurines will actually be harder in order to be able to stand them up tomorrow? I am making tools and most of them are over an inch thick but they are way too soft to be able to stand them up. I have never made anything so large and calculated the drying time would be way quicker. PLEASE HELP! If they are not nice and dry and able to be stood up tomorrow I am not sure what I am gonna do!

Ok, so I have always been told I eat too much. I am trying to go on a diet because my weight has gotten out of control since I had my son. My problem is they tell me in all diets ounces and grams and so on, does anyone know where I can get a picture of the correct food serving I should be eating if I am trying to loose weight. I don't think I eat much, nor do I eat that unhealthy. I hardly ever eat out. But obviously I am doing something wrong. Can someone help me? I want to know what people actually think. Was Obama voted because he was an African-American who can change history because of the color of his skin, or was he voted because of his education, his experience, his character, his ideas. Cause hell he admitted to raising taxes, why would anyone want that? And he has only been Senator for one term! I didn't even know who he was until he started running for President! I don't support McCain either don't get me wrong. I think him wanting to continue the war is ridicoulous. Yet if it was a Hispanic candidate, I think I would even vote for him just because he was a Hispanic candidate. I want to know the truth, did you vote for Obama because of the color of his skin or because of his character?

I am trying so hard to understand all this political and election day nonsense. I want to know what is a battleground state. Not which one are, but why it is a battle state. Help me define what is a battle state. What is does, and how it affects the elections! HELP! I want to understand before a president is chosen!
