As I was installing SimCity yesterday (my first Origin game), I couldn't help but wonder, if someone else in my household wanted to play too (unsure if they would or not), on the same PC (we only have one computer), would that be possible? Or would a second copy need to be purchased and redeemed, but not physically installed?

I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done, but it's worth a shot asking.

I ended up having to spend the bulk of today trying to get my computer working again, after it refused to boot. Apparently a system file got corrupted which prevented it from starting, even into Safe Mode. Anyway, I got it up and running for the time being (plan to reinstall Windows after I get everything backed-up), but I've got a small problem.

One of the folders I had some data in, during the recovery process, got screwed up and is now seen by the OS as just a file with no extension association. Fortunately I had backed the data up in that folder about a month ago (so it's not completely lost), but since I can't currently access the folder (since it isn't seen as one), I'm looking at a loss of a month's worth of stuff.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get this "file" changed back into a folder? If so, how? And is the file's 0 bytes a sign everything that was in it is lost, or is it just that since it was a folder, it wouldn't have the size, since they were separate files in and of themselves?

The computer is about nine years old, but getting a new one currently isn't an option, and is running Windows XP. This also seems to be the only data I've "lost" fortunately, aside from the last two years of e-mail (although I could have sworn I had a much more recent back-up that I just can't seem to locate), although it could also just the the only obvious problem.

This is driving me absolutely insane! With Mark Buehrle's win today against the Dodgers giving him sole possession of the lead in number of interleague wins at 24, I can't seem to find anything about what exactly Jamie Moyer's record was. Obviously he had 23 wins, but I'm curious as to how many losses he had. Unlike Buehrle, Moyer had basically been around since the start of interleague play, theoretically giving him more starts to compile those 23 wins.

So what is Moyer's record in interleague, compared to Buehrle's now 24-6?

Despite every possible objection to this "game" even being installed on this computer that I have (and there are many), with my recent endeavor to clear out space on the hard drive has left my dad insisting on at least one of the expansions he has (but there hasn't been room for) be installed, and presumably eating up all the space I cleared out. So with the expansions and patches, exactly how much space does World of Warcrap take up (both with and without Cataclysm (he doesn't have that one.... yet))? Just the base game alone, despite the box saying it only requires 10 GB and recently clearing out 7 GB of updates multiple sites were saying were okay to delete, it still takes up 16 GB! And with both EPs saying they require 15 GB a piece, based on the base game's inflation, that means base game and first two EPs would eat up something like 60 GB!!!

So really, how much space would it require, expanded (again, both with and without Cataclysm) and patched?

So last night I was playing MLB 2k10 (specifically my My Player starting pitcher), and a somewhat odd play developed, and the way it got "scored" just seemed a bit odd to me, and I wasn't sure if it was accurate. The game will after all on occasion challenge you as a pitcher to strike out the side, but it expects a 1-2-3 striking out the side instead of an actual striking out the side (give up an hit/walk/whatever and it says you failed), so the possibility that this play wasn't "scored" correctly is certainly there.

Anyway, the play involved the batter hitting a line drive comebacker. The ball hit me and was deflected upwards allowing for my player to catch the ball on its way down. Obviously I got credited for the putout since the ball never hit the ground, but I was also given an assist on the play. I know if you deflect the ball to another infielder and they record an out you get credited with an assist, but does that also apply if you deflect the ball back to yourself? In other words, do you get an assist for assisting yourself? Or did I just benefit from the game's lack of 100% accuracy?
