I am a mom of three. my husband and I have been married for just a little over six years. I live in Oregon where I have been since I was three. I work as a caregiver in a Residential Living Facility. I love my work and love my people. I have wonderful family and friends. And I have a wonderful God. I believe in God and have a relationship with him, but I am not perfect and do make mistakes. I love getting to know people, and I am a very people friendly person.

  • How can I link my daughter's yahoo account to mine?

I think I did it but when I went to verify it said that the link was no longer valid. I have gone into my account settings and all that but I can't see where it shows that my daughters account is linked to mine. Does anyone have any answers?

  • Cell phone for 8 year old?

What are some of the good phones and plans out there? I am looking for other personal reasons that I am not going to go into here. :) But I do want to look into it. I like some of the phones that have location devices on them as well as limited or no text messaging available. And I can program the phone myself.

Thanks for your help in advance. :)

  • Price for selling chanterelles?

Does anyone know about how much chanterelle mushrooms sell for per pound. My husband came across them while out hunting and was about to harvest ALOT. We obviously want to sell them, but want to make sure we get a fair price for them. I know they are very desired and can be very expensive to buy. So curious about selling.

  • boots for my 8 year old daughter?

My daughter is 8 and is now getting her own style, she would love a great pair of winter boots but I am hesitant to buy her the latest style of UGGS or other knock offs because there is no arch support. Does anyone know of a good brand that provides support and style for my daughter?

  • Has anyone used Kushies pull on training pants?

My daughter is potty training and I don't want to spend the money on disposable training pants. But I need something that might contain a accidental poop. Today at church she had a mess and it was EVERYWHERE. I hate poop.

If kushies doesn't work, can anyone suggest anything that does? Again I don't want to spend the money on disposables, and I think that they don't help with potty training as they absorb to well and DD doesn't feel wet.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

  • breathing during exercise?

I am about 40 lbs over weight and very out of shape. I just started a new exercise routine, and my question is this.

Is it normal to feel like I am going to die from suffocation? I do have a history of asthma that hasn't bothered me in years. But i seriously have a hard time breathing. Is this normal for a beginner and will it get better the more I work out?

  • Sell My daughter's Nebulizer?

hi, I have a nebulizer that my daughter used when she was 10 months old for just one week. She hasn't had to use it since. I am not sure if I should sell or if I can sell it or if I should keep it. I really don't see any reason to keep it other than the remote possibility that it might need to be used again.

SO I guess that is my question. Should I? Can I? What does everyone think?

    Thanks for your answers

  • 5 year old still sucking fingers?

My son just turned 5 and is still sucking his fingers. He only does it at night or when he is very tired. Which is usually at night.

I am starting to think that he might be getting too old for it but the other day when I brough it up to him that maybe he is getting too old to suck his fingers, he got very upset and started to cry a bit.

I was 11 when I finally stopped sucking my thumb and I think that was way too old to be sucking on my thumb. But yet I don't want to upset him or anything. It is kinda harmless and the Orthodontist said he was okay for now because his adult teeth aren't in.

But I still don't know what to do. Any advice? And please be nice. This is my son we are talking about. There is no reason to be mean about an innocent child.

  • Do you miss Breastfeeding?

my daughter is 11 1/2 months old. And she just stopped nursing. I am horrified about this. (lol) But seriously, I am upset. I had never determined a time of when I would quit, I just thought that it would happen one day, one of us would be done. I was right, it did, and I am not happy. I didn't think that it would be so soon. I miss it so much. I miss that time with my daughter. I mis talking to her and being her only focus. There is rarely a time that I am all she wants anymore.

I am not in any way putting any feelings on her or anything like that. I just miss my daughter. She's here but it makes me sad. And she was my last baby, so I will never get a chance to do it again. I have two other children before her and she was my only successful breast feeder. So it just makes me sad.

Does any other moms feel like this or I am psycho for actually missing the breastfeeding.

Does anyone else find this hard? I have two older kids 5, 7 and my husband and our 11 month old baby. I cook for all of us and I would like to have a good diet plan but I find it hard to follow diet plans without making seperate meals for myself and I just don't have the money for that? Am I the only one that feels like this?

Breastfeeding moms, whats your bfing schedule for your 11 month old?

I am curious how often you give your 11 month old the boob. My daughter gets it a couple of times a day and once or twice at night. But only at night does she feed for a significant amount of time. She seems to almost want the bottle more in the way that it satisfies her for a longer time. I hate this and I can't help feel that I am doing something wrong. Should I start pumping just to get more milk again? I am just not sure if I am making enough milk or if her interest has waned. Please give me some advice!

  • AHHHH!!! Separation Anxiety in a 11 month old?

so my daughter just turned 11 months, she is generally a sweet baby. But in the last week or so she has turned into the monster. If I am not holding her she flips out and sometimes even when I am holding her she is fussing. I think she might also be teething and she has a cold, but the the flipping out when I put her down is something that has being going on longer than the cold.

How long will this last? I don't want to make it worse but holding her all the time (plus I do need my sanity) but i hate seeing her face when I walk by her and not pick her up. It's so sad. What do I do? Keep on as before or just deal and hold her? She is fine when I am not around, like when she's just with my husband. But when she sees me she starts all over again.

I never had this with my older two kids. So I feel like I am going nuts.

  • hey moms I need advice!!!?

okay so not a baby question, but I frequent here most often and I need real advice.

I need a new vacuum cleaner. I really want a dyson but that is way out of my price range. What is the best behind the dyson. I need brand, model all that jazz. I want a really good vacuum that is easy, works very well and easy to clean as I have a very annoying allergy to dust.

    Thank Ladies!!!!!

  • 8 gb Zume for 8 gb Ipod, is it worth it?

What do you guys think? I have a brand new 8 gb Ipod nano chromatic. I have only had it a few months. I am thinking about trading it for a Zume. I like the idea of the fm/am player so that I can listen to the radio also. Is it a worthy trade. or should I just stick with my Ipod?
