My last apartment charged my roommates and I $395 when we moved out. We set up a payment plan to pay it off but they sent it to collections. It has currently been paid off but I wonder if if will affect my chances in getting approved for my new apartment. My credit score is 653 my gf and I make well over 2 and a half times the rent.

About 11 months ago I attempted to purchase a 2004 Dodge Neon from a small used car dealership in san bernardino county, california for $5,000. It was a saturday and I paid my down payment of $1,000 as the dealer submitted my application for finance approval. He wouldnt hear back for a few days but I signed all the necessary papers and took the car home that day.

I am in the middle of something with the owner of the dealership because literally 24 hours after i left their lot, the transmission started leaking. The car had a 1 month/1,000 mile warranty on the transmission so the dealer offered to fix the car until he found out I was denied financing (about 8 days after purchase) and I asked for my down payment back. Then he goes on about how i broke the car and needed to pay for the repairs of the car as he continues to fix parts of the car and then realize that the problem was something else. After rebuilding the transmission he tells me that the problem was actually the computer (looks like someone bumped the under carriage and knocked it) and he would not talk money until he found the part he needed and the car was fixed and could calculate what he owed me. I sent him emails with links to the part he needed (because he sad he couldnt find one) and placed phone calls trying to reach him for weeks and he ignored my attempts. a couple of months later my boyfriend called the owners cell phone from a different number and as soon as he realized what the call was about, quickly said he was busy, that he sold the car in an auction, and hung up.

My question is... After i was denied financing, should there have been any paperwork for me to sign releasing myself from the car or the car's contract? If so, and I have not signed it or recieved my down payment back, can he legally sell the car without notifying me?

Another question... Since technically i owned 20% of that car, should i receive 20% of what he made upon selling said car?

I am 23 years old and I go to school full time in California. I have a job at a restaurant that does not offer health insurance and my parents would not be contributing financially.

If I move out to an apartment, can I stay on my parents health insurance?

I bought a car a couple of months ago and could not afford the registration and title transfer until about a month ago. I got temporary registration to get it smogged but I have not received the new pink slip yet... Is it supposed to get mailed to me or am I supposed to pick it up after I have gotten it smogged?

Anyway... I am trying to sell my car so that I can get a newer car and I am wondering if I can just give the buyer the old pink slip with the bill of sale from when I bought it and a new bill of sale?

I have the proof of registration and all of the papers... I just need to know if I can sell it without the pink slip in my name since I have not received it yet...

On July 3rd I got caught in a random check point without a license. I have never had my license and was not suspended or anything. I got a ticket and they took the car. I made an extention for the court date because I procrastinate... I got my license today and my court date is on Wednesday, in two days. It was a fix it ticket and I fixed it by getting my license so my fine will go down and only be 25 dollars. Basically I want to know what to expect when I get there, do I HAVE to go to court (I don't have a credit/debit card to pay by phone/internet), what will they ask me, is my temporary license enough proof of my ticket being fixed, are there any other fees other than the fee of correction which is $25.00, and basically any other info you think I may need...

I've asked his question differently and have gotten NO answer that satisfied the question. So.... Yeah?

My roommate's xbox got the red rings and about a week later they got an Elite as a replacement because the store didn't have any of the regular ones. Anyway, so we started playing Halo and it looked different in ways. The font was smaller, split screen was slimmer I think. (It was a little difficult to identify what exactly was so different about it.) And I think the weapons made a different noise. I was just wondering if there was an update during the week that changed it because Halo 3: ODST came out and it just updated when I updated the new Xbox or if the Elite makes it look different.

Little things would be picking your nose, farting, staring... And we have the option of video taping it as opposed to writing a paper about it, and I want it to be really funny... I was thinking like standing in line at the mall and having friend bring a squirt bottle and I could sneeze on the person in front of me (fake sneeze) and my friend would squirt the bottle so the person would think I had really sneezed on them... But I don't know...

They are all going to be really funny, but I want it to be somewhere at the top of the list.

For some reason my hair is really picky.

I've been going swimming and to the beach a lot lately and after my hair dries it's really hard as if I had sprayed it with hair spray.

I thought it was only when I used 2-in-1, but i guess not.

I'm not even able to brush my hair because it's so hard and it hurts so bad.

I don't like going the rest of my day, until I go home, with nasty hard un-brushed hair.

Any idea what could be wrong with it and how to fix it?

Does anybody else get a little annoyed when you ask a question on here and you get about 50 answers saying the exact same thing, like almost word for word?

I mean, I know that some people may want to show their point of view, but when there's a question that results in a very quick answer like "What's a unibrow?" and there's like a hundred of the same exact thing, it's pretty annoying.

Don't you see that someone has already answered the question? There's no need for an echo.

I'm not talking about like life experience questions, I know everyone has different life experiences... Just the little ones.

Everyone says to wait until the first day and your professor will give you a syllabus with a list of the books, but I don't want to wait in case it takes a while to get them. I plan on ordering them online.

I have a Beagle and I wanted to put him up for stud service, but I don't know where, and I can't spend any money. I've tried online but only one person has called and my dog was sick at the time and I didn't want her dog to get sick. I tried the pennysaver but it ended up costing like forty dollars.

I have a Seagate external hard drive which holds 111 gigs.

I hold all of my music and movies on there and about 2 days ago, I tried to access my music and nothing showed up at all, but when I go to properties, it says that I only have 26% left on the hard drive. I'm pretty computer savvy but I don't know how to fix this, or even what it wrong with it. This is really bumming me out because ALL of my music is on there, and it happened right after I restored my iPod so there's nothing on there anymore.

I updated a friend's iPod with my music, but when I tried to retrieve the music from it, it wouldn't work.

Please help me!!
