I washed a load of cloths not realizing that my son had a red crayon in his pocket and didn't notice until after they were dried and saw a whole bunch of red marks on all of the cloths. I am wondering if anyone knows how to get it off.
Thanks.

My MIL gave me some and told me to burn it on Christmas eve so it would give us good health, Happiness, and wealth to the pocket. I forgot to do it. I was wondering if anyone new about this tradition and if you can burn them at any other time.
3 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agoHow do you get a child to bed without fears?
My daughter is 4 years old. We have moved her to a twin bed and for some reason she is scared of it. We put the side rails on it to make her feel as if she wont fall off but for some reason she is afraid that she will fall under the mattress which is on the floor right now with the side rail so it wouldn't be a far fall but she thinks the mattress will go on top of her. She is also afraid of monsters suddenly which I really don't know where that came from either. I don't know what to do she keeps freaking out everytime we put her to bed and it takes her 3 hours to finally calm down to fall asleep. We have never had sleep issues with her until now and My husband and I are at our whits end with her. We try to calm her down we read stories, we sing songs and we also just lay there quietly in hopes that she would too but nothing works. I want to make it a positive experience for her and we have tried a lot of different things and nothing is working. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
We don't want to cry it out since she is scared and we don't want to spank her to get her to go to sleep. I don't see how either of them would help so please do not suggest them. Thanks

3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoHas anyone heard of a fever virus?
My son has had a fever since monday rangeing from normal to 104.9. Now before I get any remarks as to take him to the hospital because 104.9 temp is very dangerous I want to let you know that I have spoken to the doctor about this and we do have it under control. That is the highest it has been and when we gave him a cool bath and some motrin it did come down. It went back up to 104.5 last night so I called again today to see if he needs any other medicine. The doctor that I spoke to mentioned that he thinks that he has a fever virus because he is on an antibiotic for his ear infection and if it was bacterial it would have gotten better by now. He did say that if he is not better by tomorrow to bring him back in to make sure that his ear infection is going away and to check his throat again. Because he did have a red throat with puss.
So my question is has anyone heard of a fever virus or has their child had this before and how long did it last.
Thanks.
10 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoWhat do you use to clean a pack and play mattress?
My son ended up vomitting in the pack and play. I wiped it up. I would like to sanitize it so I am wondering what can I use to clean it that will not hurt my son when I put him back in it.
Thanks for your help.
8 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoQuestion about fevers?
My son has been running a fever since Monday and for some reason at night is when it is the highest. During the day it runs from normal to 102 and during the night it runs from 101 to 104 the highest so far was last night which was 104.9. Tonight so far it is at 104.5.
I would like to know why is the fever so much higher at night then during the day.
Just to let you know he is on an antibiotic for an ear infection and also possible strep throat. He is 15 months old and I have been giving him motrin for his fever with tylenol in between per doctors orders. I am going to call the doctor tomorrow and ask them to see him again because he has had this fever for so long I don't think the antibiotic is working.
I am just wondering if anyone knows why fevers are so much higher at night then during the day?
thanks

3 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoIs it ok to give my 15 month old peanut butter?
At my son's 12 month doctors visit my doctor told me not to give my son peanut butter yet. I was wondering at what age is a good age to introduce peanut butter?
I have been breastfeeding him since day one and I do eat peanut butter almost every day so wouldn't that go through my milk. I just don't understand why he can't have peanut butter yet.
Thanks for your answers.
