thanks too all the great feedback on my previous question!!! i pulled the left side clutch/gear cover off and found the primary chain to have eaten the upper and lower plastic chain guides along with the lower chain guide spring. PLASTIC EVERYWHERE!! i cleaned everything up and ordered the guides and spring from harley. My question is, how do i adjust the primary chain tension???? or is that the job of the plastic guides and spring??? also, how do you fill and what is the capacity of oil (formula +) for the clutch and chain housing???

when in nuetral, or low gear 1,2,3rd. there is a clattering sound coming from the left side, clutch cover/gear cover, goes away from time to time, clatter is louder when bike has been driven/ Hot. When you pull the clutch lever in sound is gone........ any idea's ????????? clutch job maybe, or worse ?????

i just bought a 2001 buell blast changed the oil, new plug, and new gear box oil, when the bike warms up or im driving it, it will die and then cranks but no start. when the problem happens there is no spark from the coil, plenty of fuel, and plenty of air. i would think it to be the coil, but any idea's before i go waste money?????
