3 AnswersCameras1 decade agoWhen does the aperture get changed to whatever I set?
My previous question about the depth of field preview button had people telling me that a half-pressed shutter locks the focus and exposure.....so....when actually does the aperture change to the value I fix(if I am not going to use the dof preview button before the exposure).....and if the aperture is going to change, as I change it from my camera......why a separate dof preview button??

4 AnswersCameras1 decade agoWhich one to select- D80 or the D200??
I am definitely not into action photography and I need a nikon dslr which will give me very good portraits, macro and landscapes.
I am confused between the d80 and d200- and I don't mind the extra money the d200 will demand. Which one do you think would suite my needs?
Apart from the 5fps/3fps what is the major difference between them?

The d200 or the d80 are actually superb cameras except for this fact.
