Twin Cam Harley question...Knocking sound at idle. (no haters, please)?
Hey, I have a 2005 Harley Road King Classic, with 23,000 miles on it. I've noticed a mild knocking sound at idle, which seems to go away as soon as I add some throttle or put it in gear and roll. The sound is inconsistent, and not very rhythmic. I initially thought it might be a worn bearing, or a rod, but the sound would increase at higher RPM if that was the case. Do any of you have any experience with this problem? I'm probably in the wrong place for it, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Greg

Silly, right? But I have a pair of shoes that seem to have stretched out a bit, and can't be worn unless they shrink a bit....I was thinking I could wet them (the uppers) with warm water, then put them in the sun or something. Does anybody have any experience with this? Shoe guys & gals, please help!

Suddenly, my Yahoo Messenger is not able to log me in. Now, I know that seems petty, but I actually use it for email alerts, and talking to clients. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and still not able to log in under any of my Yahoo accounts. It works fine on my auxilary machine. ??? I'm baffled! Any ideas?

The water heater is about two or three years old. The pilot simply quits, and in the past two weeks, I've had to re-light the thing once a day, and today twice. I've tried tapping on the pilot's gas line, and that seemed to help for a while....I could see debris burning in the flame, and the pilot was much easier to light....but now it's just going out all the time. Is there anything I can do? Is my gas "dirty?" Should I have a filter in my gas line? Is the regulator bad? HELP! Cold showers suck! Thanks in advance, Greg
