Hi there, My daughter is 23 and works in a salon for between 17/18 hours a week, Has been there for around 4 years. The lady who owns the salon has an accountant who has now asked my daughter to bring in her pay slips and P60 from her other job which she was recently made redundant from but he wanted to see these things before she lost her second job where she worked 12 hours. I am concerned as to why he requires this information. I believe this has nothing to do with him because she worked for a completely different company and received monthly payslips from them. Hi, my son has the capture card for his xbox, we have set it all up but it only seems to work on PAL 50 settings on the XBOX. However he cannot play any of his Call of Duty games on PAL 50 they only work on PAL 60. Does this mean he cannot use his Dazzle capture card or is there something else we can try? i have messed up my router and need help getting it back to the way it was. tried to reset it yesterday and now have lost the internet on the laptop and xbox live. when i try to connect the laptop to the pc it says 'the settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network' anyone know what that means? thank you for any advice, have tried unplugging everything one at a time and nothing works .

i have an asus desktop tower 2GB windows XP which has been freezing for a few months on and off but would always come on eventually but now can't seem to get anywhere. have unplugged it loads of times and even left it off overnight but nothing. can sometimes get safe mode on, should i try system restore? would this help at all? it gives no messages just the screen freezing at different stages. most times the windows XP signs comes up with the little white rectangle and the little blue dots running through it - they just carrry on flashing by for ages and nothing happens or it will go to a blank screen. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you :-)

please help me! i don't know what i have done but i think its something bad! internet keeps freezing and home page doesn't even load sometimes. i think its connected to not being able to add 'add-ons'. everytime the option comes up at the top page the whole pc freezes then crashes. can't download adobe flash player which i think i need.

i have been having some trouble recently with pc and it won't download adobe. i can't use youtube, it keeps coming up that i need to download the flash player, so i click on that. then the thing at the top comes up, sayin the following website wants to install the add-on. so i click on this and the whole pc freezes and then nothing happens so i have cross off the page and go to my home page. please help me with this. thanks

where can i guy Gypbond adhesive in the manchester area. its to be applied to tiles so you can plaster over them. its green in colour i think as i have used it before a few years back. thanks very much.

hi, for some unknown reason i have lost my contraceptive pills! i have one left for tonight. i am on the cerazette progestogen only pill and have to take the pill every day without a break for full protection. is there any way i can get a prescription or the actual cerazette pills over the weekend? i live in the uk. i was thinking of the nhs walk-in centre, would they be able to help? thanks very much for any information.

hi i have just got back from shopping and with all the queues i have found a couple of frozen food starting to defrost. now do i wait until they are fully defrosted and then cook them or am i ok to put them in the oven now. they are butternut and cranberry roast and cheese and broccoli escalopes. thank you for your help.

my pc is windows xp and i have a belkin wireless router that is used for my son's xbox 360 live. i want to buy him a laptop for christmas but most of them are vista. will the laptop still work using the router if the pc is xp and the laptop is vista? thank you

i want to save my photo's onto a disk, but the disk does not have enough space to hold them all. what i need to know is how to half the amount of photo's i have so they will fit onto several disks. i don't want to individually remove each photo because there are around 700! i hope you understand what i am talking about but i am fairly new to all this. i have already copied them to a file on the computer and they are ready to be written to c.d. thanks for any advice given.

deleted favourites that i don't use

deleted items on start-up tray

uninstall programmes i don't need

defragmented

is there anything else i can do to help speed things up. many thanks for any advice.

my son got the xbox 360 in april and it was working fine yesterday. go to switch it on this morning and it doesn't seem to work. the orange light is on (on the box connecting the wires) but when he presses the button on the xbox itself it doesn't light up. we have changed plug sockets and switched it on and off but it still isn't coming on. i have checked to see if all the wires are fitted in correctly. anyone else have this same problem? any help will be appreciated.

please can anyone help with this problem. we have just brought the xbox live wireless adapter and cannot get on xbox live. this is what it says: network adapter - USB wireless, wireless network - not connected. we have a belkin router which seems to be working fine. can you tell me why it is saying not connected to wireless network. thank you

my son has got the xbox 360 for his birthday today. he wants to go on the xbox live but, we can't seem to connect wirelessly. we have the pc upstairs with a belkin router and the xbox downstairs with a belkin adapter. when we try to go 'live' the xbox says its disconnected. has anyone any ideas where we are going wrong. thanks for your help.
