Would you consider San Antonio the edge of west Texas ?
Favourite answer:Wikipedia says it is roughly west of a line drawn from Wichita Falls, to Abilene, to Del Rio. San Antonio is well east of that.

What time should I leave for my flight?
Favourite answer:You should be in the airport by about 1:30. I would leave between 9-9:30 in case you encounter any traffic or other problems along the way.

Do you think it's fair by the San Antonio city council to not allow Chick-Fil-A to open one of their restaurants in that city?
Favourite answer:I think it's against the law and they should get sued over it.
If the restaurant opens and people in the community don't want to eat there -- then the restaurant closes.
But not allowing a restaurant to open based on the religious beliefs of the ownership is protected class discrimination.
By the way.... I live in Long Beach, CA
Our mayor is a gay. His name is Robert Garcia. You might begin to here his name because he plans to run for state office.
Guess what restaurant provides the food for the annual Mayor Golf Tournament.... Chick Fil A....

In Texas, can I kick out a paying roommate if they're not on any kind of lease? They just pay cash?
Favourite answer:Depends on what you mean by "kick out". If you mean throw them out overnight, then the answer is no. If you mean giving them proper notice to leave, then the answer is yes.
As they aren't under any contract, you just need to follow your state laws. In Texas, you should give 30 day written notice (assuming he pays monthly). It would take affect on the 1st of the next rental month. That means that if you gave notice today, the 30 days wouldn't start until April 1 giving him until April 30 to be out. (If he pays weekly, you only need give 7 day notice.)

Favourite answer:I liked North Carolina and Tennessee. Nice people and such a beautiful environment. But there's something special about Colorado and her mountains, too.
