Capitalist economy, extreme mismanagement of resources along with their sell-out to the USA, and of course, the people responsible,who are just sitting around watching a few greedy thieves take away everything from the citizens of India - the great dormant middle class.

The infernal caste system which although banned, rears its ugly head everytime. Red tape and cumbersome government.
