Curacao Salsa? How is it different from Cuban and other popular salsa dance?
There are many variations of Salsa: L.A. Salsa, NY Salsa On 2, Casino or Cuban Salsa, etc. I read something about Curacao Salsa. Can anyone familiar with Curacao Salsa explain what is it? How is it different from Cuban and other popular salsa? Please write in details how it is danced (such as the breaking of the foot on 1,2,3...). Thanks in advance.

Check out this site: http://www.salsipuedes.com/ . That's a link of one of the many salsa courses they give here in Curacao. That class is actually Puerto Rican style salsa, but maybe you can mail the teacher your question.

I can't tell if it is just the name of the event/location she teaches at or it is different style called curacao salsa. Looks like a variation of salsa on 2 for all I can tell.
I'm under impression that there is a dance event called Curacao Salsa Festival: http://www.curacaosalsafestival.com/ maybe this is what Curacao Salsa means?
