Something is wrong with my dog...?

I want to take him to the vet, but I am between jobs at the moment and, while I can afford the 'office visit', I can't afford any type of diagnostics or treatments, if needed. Does anyone know of low cost veterinary care in southern California? Specifically Orange County. Thank you for your help.

Update:

yeah, if I can find a place that will bill me or work with me on some sort of a payment plan, that would be wonderful. To me, a pet is a life long responsibility, and I do take that very seriously. I will do whatever I need to do to get him the help he needs.

Check with your local SPCA or Human Society. Not getting treatment can be criminal offense depending on the circumstances. But not having the money is not an excuse the court likes to hear, they see pets a responsibility you took on so you should be able to follow through. Explain the situation and see if they have any assistance programs. Most do.

    good luck honey

I understand your dilemma, but I would check with the local aspca, or in a pinch a petco/petmart. I would rather risk a bill than my treasured pets life!
