Compare Compaq Presario C71NR and Gateway ML6720?

well mainly being the pentium, ram (same i think) and hard drive speeds, theyre not bad, i was considering the compaq on sale last week from best buy and its not bad, if its the same model ur talking about however i just looked up the number and you probably typed it wrong btw, they just both seem nice the gateway seems is 50dollars cheaper, the better choice right now is centrino but given these laptops are around 400 and centrino atleast 650, for basically the same thing (duocore) i think any of these are excellent choices, the bottom line, remember theyre laptops, you can spill stuff on em, or drop it and byebye screen always go with whats cheaper regardless, i was stupid enough to buy a higher end 1200 hp that now is not only just as old as any other much cheaper notebook i could of bought, it doesnt even work thanks to a bad power connector, its a cost, once you buy it therell be something newer the next week so just stick with something cheap, i personally preffer the compaq style but its basically the same thing and i too think ill be buying the gateway later this week anyway since no more compacs are on sale
