Am I irresponsible to hope for Obama?

The Republicans rule the country in the last 50 years. Republican appointed career judges, technocrats, teachers, etc. steered America.

We are now talking about the future. The youth have spoken. They want a new breed of leaders.

Update:

Jenny - I'm talking about presidents from Dwight Eisenhower down... The presidents who appointed judges and filled many government post with Republican appointees.

Update 2:

The era from 1953 to present its 70% Republican president and government appointees. That have favored big business and busted labor.

NO! The Republican party is a corporate government. The party’s main goal is self interest, and the bottom line profit for the good old boys. I am really not sure if the party is dumb, or they just doesn’t care about American commoners. The United States are suffering from eight years of bad decisions or self interest decisions. It will take many years to get our country back to the super power for world peace we once were, but we have to start somewhere. I will vote for Obama/Biden because Obama brings a fresh change, and Biden brings the foreign experience.

I have only kept up with politics for the last 25 years, and it is only my opinion, but I think the president of the Republican party is only a figure head controlled by corporations.

The fact that MaCain picked a VIP with no experience just to get the female vote tells me it will be the same bad decision that we have suffered the last eight years.

What would happen if MaCain became incapacitated due to his age after one year in office? We would have a female figure head controlled by a corporate government. I am all for free trade, but not at the demise of my Country, friends, and neighbors.

    >>>The Republicans rule the country in the last 50 years. >>>

    Huh?

For most of the last 50 y ears, Congress has been under Democrat control.

And the last time I checked, the list of Republican presidents over the last 50 years did not include Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Clinton.

Over the last 50 years, these four men occupied the White House for a total of about 20 years.

And what on earth makes you think that most teachers are Republicans?

The teachers' unions are overwhelmingly liberal -- as is the typical American college campus.

Yes, at least to vote for Obama who's past

has been shady to say the least. When will

' Democrats present someone with a clean

past that people can believe? Biden was

voted down by the voters 2ce in his run for

president in the past. He's not changed as

one of the most liberals in D.C. Why would

    anyone want him now?

You would be irresponsible if you didn't care about your future as a citizen of the U.S. of A.

If your making 5 million or more vote Republican!!!

McCain is senile, clueless, and "out-of-touch." I think having Palin as a running mate is his way of asking for an "out." This is clearly an idiotic decision which proves that Obama's Democratic Party's convictions are accurate. He should have chosen Ridge or Romney if he wanted to ROCK the HOUSE with Republican Repeats. I bet this pick wasn't even McCain's decision. He probably was pressured... most of his decisions are clearly not HIS alone. The REPOs decide for him.

However, his decision was wise for the Democratic Party!

Let's not forget, there is a difference between Democratic Women and Republican Women. Hillary supporters chose her for her strength, sincerity, and intelligence. Most importantly what she stood-up for and what she wanted for WE-the-PEOPLE. NOT just because she's a woman, because she is a SMART woman, SHE IS HILLARY.

No, your will join the 200 million who will be voting for a smart, wise and thoughtful JFK kind of leader. You will rather be irresponsible if you don't vote for him and repeat the same embarrassing AL-GORE/BUSH election. Another 4years of Bush???

not only is it irresponsible it's ignorant to think he can be the leader of the free world. if you listen to him, i mean REALLY listen to him he will look worse and worse to you as time goes on

ask yourself this: if you saw a video of him saying one thing and then seeing him deny saying it even after he was shown the same video would you trust him still? don't vote for change just for the sake of change. do your research and vote intelligently

    DEMOCRATS FOR MCCAIN!!!

To hope for him, no. To vote for him, yes.

Source(s): The youth, like O, have no experience. Trust my country to them? Insanity.
