Have you seen this coming?
Health Care Reform Bill is a big circus. Pathetically contrived and overly intricate to put on a show for purposes of gaining people approval for a program stripped of any real reform that will benefit the people needing health care. This is an Insurance Industry give away.
21 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat happened to REFORM in the Health Care Bill?
I wonder what happened to "REFORM" in this bill. The health insurance industry is clearly in control of the American senate.
Wendell Potter or Anthony Weiner at Countdown with Keith Olbermann are great guests with an insider view of the going ons in the so called Health Care Reform.
8 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWill Baucus gets the credit for a well orchestrated charade?
All the raucous from Sen Baucus will never get any closer to an honest quest for reforming the health care with a strong public option. Baucus will give the cookie jar away as long as he gets a cookie. What a phony.
2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you know who Enzi or Baucus are?
GOP Gang Of Six Senator's Ties To Insurance Industry
Max Baucus isn't the only senator who may be taking his health care cues from insurance companies. WellPoint Inc., recently revealed to have influenced Baucus's health care framework, also has notable ties to Gang of Six Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyo.).

It very apparent that this is a superficial and political propaganda. The real test is if this group of people can police their ranks and prevent terrorism from spilling over other countries.

6 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs it $1.2 billion in tax breaks in McCain's energy scheme for Exxon Mobil?
http://www.californiaprogressreport.com/2008/08/ca...
The GOP nominee has earned the nickname “Exxon John” for his close ties to Big Oil. Thirty-three former oil and gas lobbyists either work for or raise money for “Exxon John’s” campaign, and his energy scheme includes a jaw dropping $4 billion in tax cuts to the top five oil companies.
Under “Exxon John’s” energy scheme, Exxon Mobile – a corporation that makes $300,000 in the time it takes Californians to fill their gas tanks and recently reported record profits – would receive $1.2 billion in tax breaks.
