Why do you think people are spreading so many rumors about the other side in this election?
We have 4 people who have chosen careers in serving the people of the United States. Three senators and one governor. All four of these people have done what they think is best for their constituents - the people who elected them to office. Yet the questions I've been reading have questioned everything about there lives. They've questioned their Patriotism, there family values, there religion, family relationships, community relations, even their citizenship.
I don't think there is any question about their Patriotism, McCain was in the military and Palin's son served in Iraq. As for family values, Obama and Palin look like they have nice young families, and Biden lost members of his family.As for religion, I remember when JFK was running and people said he would never be elected because "He is Catholic". Religion should not matter. We all have our own beliefs. As for who they knew back home, I don't care. I knew people too who didn't turn out well, and I'm not a bade person.
So, the question, why do people think it is necessary to spread rumors about the candidates?

I think parties invent mis-truths, because they know there is nothing bad about the other candidate. For example, the McCain Campaign has attacked Obama on numerous issues, his supposed sexism, his immigration policy, which is the same as McCain's, and then invented that he wanted to force sex-ed on kindergartners, all found to be mistruths. The Obama campaign reapeaively talked about McCain owning seven houses, as reasoning for McCain not knowing the issues.

self reliant leaning in the direction of Obama i might've seen balloting for McCain if he had Olympia Snowe on the fee tag, yet she's properly retaining her distance. he will in no way get a vote from me with Palin as his vice chairman.

Listen, why do you think Democrat politians have the mentality of a lawyer? Because they are lawyers and they view everybody as a victim, and demonize the opposition.

The issues dont bring enough attention to them...and America cares more about gossip......Hilton going to jail probably got more attention than this election

There is only one side spreading rumors, lying, smearing and are being typically who they always are. I'll give you one hint. It's not the Democrats.

Becasue the liberal media is covering up for the empty suit. You can't get fair and balance information regarding the Arabic-named Dem candidate because of the old boys' club's interests. Be Sexist and racist - strategy.
