  • What is the name of the game?

You have black and white discs. Each person takes a turn at place their disc on the board. If your color surrounds the discs of the other players, you turn them over to your color. You play until the board is covered and the person with the most discs of their color wins.

    Thanks is advance.

  • For the Undecided, have you made your decision on who to vote for?

I know this should not be used for rant, chat or as a forum. But I have read a lot in answers about the election and I have something to say. I apologize in advance.

I am a registered Democrat and have voted Democrat in every presidential election save for Reagans 1st term. I have been waiting for the candidates to show meet something different before making up my mind.

Both parties have run negative campaigns with many lies about all parties concerned. It turned out the be the Same Old S--- (SOS). There was no change.

But Sen. Obama has raised and spent more money than any political candidate in the history of the USA. He spent over $3 million on an infomercial while we are still trying to house victims of Katrina and Ike, while our economy is in a deep recession, while people are losing their homes and pensions (Do you know that $3 million can buy 500,000 meals for the elderly and children?). He said he is for Change that We Need. I don't need that kind of change. He is giving the SOS.

Therefore, I am voting for Sen. John McCain in this election. I hope you other undecideds follow me. Thank you.

  • What is the call for this play?

Its the last play of the 1st half. Team A has the ball on their own 1 yard line so the QB can't take a knee. At the snap, Team B blitzes and tackles the QB in the end zone for a safety. Now what happens? The clock has run out.

    1. Is it just the end of the half? or,

    2. Does there have to be another play were Team A kicks to Team B?

    3. Is it carried over to the 2nd half?

I suspect it just the end of the half, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

  • Does anyone know of a good I & R/A Software program?

I am looking for good I & R/A program. I recently sat in on demonstrations of the SAMS I&R and PeerPlace programs. They both are good programs, each having their strong points and weak points. The program I am looking for has to have a reliable data base, able to be updated, easy to learn and use, easy to maintain (non-professionals will be using the program). I am looking to use it for the Aging and Disability Resource Network and Center. What is your opinion of the 2 programs I saw and is there anything better. Thanks

  • The new season of House question?

After watching House last night, how many of you think that the young detective is House's son?

Talks like House, acts like House, even at the end when he was playing the piano it looked like House until House walked in. Then they started playing the blues together.

    Could this be House's son?

  • Why do you think people are spreading so many rumors about the other side in this election?

We have 4 people who have chosen careers in serving the people of the United States. Three senators and one governor. All four of these people have done what they think is best for their constituents - the people who elected them to office. Yet the questions I've been reading have questioned everything about there lives. They've questioned their Patriotism, there family values, there religion, family relationships, community relations, even their citizenship.

I don't think there is any question about their Patriotism, McCain was in the military and Palin's son served in Iraq. As for family values, Obama and Palin look like they have nice young families, and Biden lost members of his family. As for religion, I remember when JFK was running and people said he would never be elected because "He is Catholic". Religion should not matter. We all have our own beliefs. As for who they knew back home, I don't care. I knew people too who didn't turn out well, and I'm not a bade person.

So, the question, why do people think it is necessary to spread rumors about the candidates?

  • Why did the Democrats choose Obama?

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong but I need to say it.

Why did the Democrats choose Obama? He is a junior Senator from Illinois. He has been in the Senate for 1 term and has spent some of it campaigning. Most of his experience is at the state level, not the federal or international level.

He choose Joe Biden as his running mate. Biden was the first candidate to drop out after Iowa. Doesn't that mean that the people did not want him in the administration? I've been a register Democrat since 1972 and my wife changed to Democrat this year. We are so disappointed that the Democrats choose someone that "talks the talk but can't walk the walk". Thanks for letting me vent. Opinions are welcome.

  • Have you seen a bad baseball game?

Thursday, I was in Great America Ballpark in Cincinnati to see the Reds and the Astro play baseball. In my 50 years of going to baseball games it was the worst game I have ever seen. Drop balls, players out there with no energy. One player came up with bases loaded and never took the bat off his shoulder, struck out looking, never swung at a pitch and wanted to argue with the ump about it. People started leaving in the 4th inning. The guy beside me says this is when I turn it off at home, their just bad. The kid beside my wife apologized to us because we traveled 3 hours to see the game and it was bad. We finally left in the 6st inning.

How can a team charge the public and put on such a poor display. We paid $65 (it was ladies night, so my wife ticket was 1/2 price) and would have had more fun watching my grandsons high school team. The Reds traded Josh Hamilton, leading the majors in RBI and an All Star and Ken Griffey Jr., on the down side of his career but still with 600 homers, and now have an outfield with a rookie who tried to make a basket catch and dropped the ball, and a center fielder hitting .190.

Has anybody experienced such poor play as I did at a baseball game.
