Bad muscle ache after gym workout!?

I've been hitting the gym thrice a week for the past two weeks. Its only yesterday that I started to experience really bad muscle aches. My entire body feels sore! Especially on areas of the joints of both my arms and legs. Its seriously a killer, I can barely move lol.

Any advice?

Staying home on new year's is sooo not the plan :P

    Your body is acting normal. It will get used to it eventually but try letting up on the weight and build up to the heavy stuff.

    You need to feed your muscles after a workout. Complex carbs do the trick. Try some pasta.

    It's probably just DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) this happens to me every now and then, and your body probably just needs to get used to your movements. but if it continues to persist I would go see a doctor and get your bone density checked and have them check your joints and maybe do some blood work.
