I just bought a house and I'm trying to decide what to do. I need high speed internet because I have an internet business, but I want go get satellite over cable. (I want a japanese foriegn language station, and the anime station. can't get that on cable.)

    You can get them separate. There is no technical or regulatory issues preventing it.

    The only thing is that they may have a different rate or a wire fee for internet without TV.
