Laptop Will Not Connect to Range Plus Router...?
I have an HP nc6320 laptop. It's about two years old and I have had no prior problems with connecting wireless. I had Verizon DSL for several years and my laptop was easily able to connect to Verizon's Modem/Router they provided me with.
After having constant speed issues with DSL, we decided to switch to Comcast. The speed is very fast and we are rather pleased. Comcast only provides you with a Modem, so its up to us to purchase a wireless router. Needing a router, I decided to purchase the Linksys WRT110 (RangePlus) router. I've connected the Xbox 360 and the PS3 to it with no problems. But when it comes to the laptop, it will not connect. It constantly reads "Acquiring Network Address" over and over again.
The wireless is ON on the laptop and I have correctly setup up the router and downloaded the latest drivers for my laptop. I'm very confused as to why the laptop will not connect to the router. I even tried resetting my IP Address, but still no luck.
Does anybody have any tips or suggestions on what to do or what may be the problem? Thanks in advance!

check the broadcast channels
make sure its not broadcasting on 802.11n try 802.11b/g
to look at these settings hard-wire the router to the computer using the ethernet connection and enter the IP address for the router (look in your manual for your router) then look at the settings
hope this helps
