Is it wrong to say harasho instead of hərəsho ?

    It's said different. (Now I can't write some symbols here... But I'll try: /xærΛsho/.

    The sound /æ/ here (that you have written like e, you were right) is pronounced like English A in the word America.

    /Λ/ is a bit closer to the "normal a".

    But you can say it like harasho with "normal a" (but I really don't know what is "normal a" for you). You'll be understood anyway. But of course every native speaker will notice that Russian isn't your mother tongue :P
