Can you wash canvas in a washing machine?
I have a canvas tool roll that is really dirty, I was wondering if you can throw canvas into a washing machine to clean it?

I wash canvas pants and shirts in the washer and dyer. They are not damaged or anything, just a bit stiff but that's just the canvas's natural state. I think the item will be fine. I wash canvas in cold water with colors and darks.

yes you can i wash my husbands hunting back pack it has leather on bottom. i also have trown in dryer for 5 minutes on low. then hang up to air dry. dont forget to use clorox 2 for added stain removal. or just a good soak in oxyclean and rinse in washing machine should have it looking like new.

I can suggest you hand wash your bag, Wash with natural soap and hang outside to dry . If you put it in your machine you may damage the leather.
