Help! 16th B'day. Major bad day so far. What can we do?

hi.

So my girlfriends brother turned 16 today. So far its the worst Bday for him. He had finals today, and he isn't talking to anybody. (He's sortof emo, sad, depressed type, he has longish hair, painted fingernails, wears eye shadow, listens to radio head, dress super emo, piercings and all that stuff,.. you know)

And he practically did nothing since he came home from finals, there was no surprise, no gifts, no phone calls. Just awkward silence from everybody. And his mom is always sad and wont talk. I feel bad. and my gf isn't fun right now coz she is feeling sad. and I am bored. I also feel sad for her super awesome cool brother too :(.

I want to take him out to checkout the night life and awesome fun in our downtown of our Big city, but she won't let me (argh! He's 16.) I can't take him to an awesome party, coz she won't let me. I can't take him to my crazy rockstar friends, coz she won't let me.

Ah, I want to take him to a movie atleast? and perhaps go some awesome place (maybe)? What gifts can we buy? What can we do tonight? Please help. I want to take him out. Thanks

oh! he likes me and I think he is the coolest. I wish I was like him when I was 16. Lol. I just finished college.

    Maybe get him a cd ( Not a sad cd tho). Take him to a movie go out bowling let him met new people. Do anything with him! he'll probably like it more then sitting at home. And just be there for him. Text him ( even if he's in the same room with you ) and say Happy birthday ( Like OMG HAPPY BIRTHDAY AHHH ) or something stupid that will just make him smile. Just drive around with him let him meet some of you not so crazy friends. And don't only be nice to him on his birthday but everday. I really hope he has a good birthday your really nice for doing this :)

    Awww, poor guy. Well after this bad day....I think anything you do will mean something to him. Why don't you take him out for dinner and then you guys see a movie? I mean it gets him out of the house and is better than just sitting at home. Sounds like you don't have many options as your girlfriend has limited them ( haha). Just be like get up we are going to get some grub and hit up a movie....Or maybe just ask him what he wants to do. He might already have something in mind.

    i think of your son is springing up a believe difficulty. somewhat in view that he's sixteen and you think of he nevertheless needs slightly one sitter. the chinese language training i understand in view which you reside in china now. I additionally think of which you're hurting your son via no longer letting him enhance a social life. that is going to injury him later on down the line whilst he has employer conferences, paintings gatherings, etc. because of the fact he will in ordinary terms experience delicate conversing to relatives. Plying the piano, now theres a huge factor there. you mentioned he has to play in view which you didnt get to. it rather is the reason he hates it plenty. you are able to constantly be taught to play the piano your self even now. take a glance returned at what you have published. i think of you need to verify why he lashes out at you. i think of you're being too strict with him sure.

    have a do over birthday tomorrow. He won't have to stress over finals on a saturday and you can go out and have fun and invite all his friends over
