Receiving 10 random text messages from 10 different numbers, all in one minute. Any guesses to what's going on?
Obviously, I didn't reply to those messages, but here's more details on those messages.
They were all sent within the same minute, and none of the numbers were the same. But the area codes of the numbers are all pretty much scattered over the US (I'm in Canada).
662 - I know kung fu.
920 - Blue. It's very... blue.
651 - Stop texting me!
786 - Dude, help me get this possum out of my living room.
774 - You need to man up.
774 - I just wished for a bagel. It didn't come true.
714 - Dude, help me get this possum out of my living room.
931 - Your hands area really hairy.
716 - Life... is a kumquat.
928 - I have a mustache, but you do not have a mustache.
I looked up the area codes. They are from:
Northern Mississippi, eastern Wisconsin, Saint Paul Minnesota, Miami-Dade county, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Orange County California, middle Tennessee, Rochester NY area, and Arizona.
It's a mystery, but anybody wanna guess what's going on?

someone might have put your phone number on the internet to thousands of people and 10 people were brave enough or stupid enough to text you

Something went wrong somewhere. One time my land line phone messed up and I could pick it up and hear two people talking. And join the conversation. Very strange. I'd go to order a pizza and stumble into a conversation. Sometimes I would just listen. Sometimes I would talk. That really freaked them out. When I said something. LOL That lasted about two days. Some wires got crossed somewhere. When they came to fix it they tried charging me for it. That's a whole other story. My personal favorite text that you got: Dude, help me get this possum out of my living room. Too effing funny!

I think some guy asked all his friends to text him to try out his new phone, but he gave them your phone number by mistake.

There are so many websites that let you prank people by texting them. they can add random number to the caller ID.
