Should i go Zurich or Milan?
I am traveling to Italy and Switzerland in May 2011. Due to a tight schedule, I need to choose between MIlan or Zurich for one of the day. The day before this destinatino i will be in Venice with the next day after the destination i will be in Lucerne.
I am not sure should i be visitng Zurich or Milan for the day.. could you please share with me your thought? Thanks..

They are both nice cities, but from a tourism perspective there is more to see and do in Zurich and this is the one I would choose. However, it really depends on your interests particularly for a short stay like you're planning. If you're interested in seeing the Duomo, Last Supper, La Scala and other Milan sights, then there is enough to keep you occupied for a day. If you want to see the Last Supper, you need to make reservations far in advance.

Since you are on a tight schedule, Zurich will be the better choice as it is only 1hr by train compared to 4hrs to Milan (from Zurich).
