What would be a metaphor for a stripper? What would be a symbolic action that reinforces them?

A dancer who is stripping simply for the pleasure and enjoyment of showing off could be compared to a peacock flashing it's beautiful feathers because it believes it is the most stunning of all.

A dancer tempting men could be compared to the snake in Eden, slithering up the tree of good and evil tempting Adam and Eve.

A dancer that is forced to strip to provide for herself and/or family could be compared to a tree, stripped of it's leaves in the wind. It does not willingly shed it's leaves, the wind sweeps them off like the demands of reality force strippers to shed their clothing.

I really don't know if this is what you were looking for but it was fun making those up! :)

Yes a peacock would be a very good metaphor.
