How to fight for my rights for being cheated for internet sales?

I have purchased a new pets clipper from internet today. It is posted in the internet with photos for Korean brand. I asked the girl whether the clipper is still available and brand new and she said yes and she has only one and it is a stronger power model. We agreed on the price and meet up place. When i reached the place, as there's no parking space nearby, I stop the car outside the train station to collect the item. By looking at the box it looks brand new and i quickly paid the item and left. When i reached home and opened up the box, i found that the item is old and with scrathes on the item. Worst, it is a different brand from China. I called the girl for a returned and she rejected me. She said it is close case deal as i ahve already seen the goods and paid the money.

I felt cheated. Although this is only $60 deal but i am very piss for her attitude. How should i file a claim for this kind of case. I know it is partly my fault for not checking the item but it is obviously she is being dishonest.

What can i do to fight for my right. Thanks.

That is pretty horrible. I am sorry that happened to you. If you have her cell phone number then you may not be able to do much. But if she called you from a land line you may be able to track her home address. Then you can take her to small claims court. Google her phone number and look closely for addresses. Also, google her name and phone number together, even if you only have her first name. The other thing you can do is go to the library and look in the Reverse Lookup Directory (that is what it is called in my area). It's an actual phone book arranged by numerical order. It shows names and addresses, which you will need to file a claim in small claims court. Otherwise, you can just have someone else call her from a different phone number about the clippers or something else and see if she will meet them to sell them something. I don't know if you can have an officer standing by when she drives up so that you can have her ID checked and get her personal information but you can check with the police department. Otherwise, I don't know what you can do. I hope it works out for you.
