Ramadan Do you think Hussein Bin Ali RA should show wisdom and patience, instead of flowing in emotions?

Hussein Bin Ali RA should wait and see the suitable environment.. should not leave Madeena, his emotional decision created the whole mess.

Wisdom is the key to resolve such complications that is to step backward if the situation is not in favor.

Muhammad pbuh hide himself in Ghazwa Ohd when there was swear life threat situation for him, that was wisdom.

wisdom sometimes demands political sattlement for a very limited period of time, like Muhammad pbuh did treaties with Non-Muslims, the famous is Sullah Hudabiya, even all terms and conditions were against Muslims, but that wise decision proved it the best decision after some time.

there is a limit for patience, imam ali was patient after the propet's death, he was also patient when he accepted that muawiya to stay in a position of governor of sham, he did it for islam, imam hassan was patient when he saw that his army wasnt fit to fight muawiya and that he is forced to an agreement, he did it for islam, imam hussien was patient when muawiya broke the agreement that he made with imam al hassan when he appointed his son yazid(L) as his successor, but the limit was when a drunkard and a criminal assumed rule in the nation, imam hussein could never possibly accept to swear allegiance to such a man, and his refusal to submit to injustice cause the mess..

if u look at the events in sequence, first it was a mild injustice after the prophet's death, then escalated to the denial of the righteous caliphate of imam ali at siffeen, then to assuming the cilapha by those who fought imam ali, then to assuming the cilapha to a person that is far from anything muslim.. did u think that things would have been better if the imam didnt go out against yazid? do u think that yazid would have had a change of heart? if he swears allegiance to yazid then it would have been his acceptance to injustice, and yzid would have had his way with the religion, and he would have changed islam beyond recognition, since he wasnt tat much of a believer in the quran, he was openly a drunkard for god's sake!

there is no wonder that sunnis accept the rule of the unjust in their lands, from saudi arabia that ally with the west, to king of jordan that allied with the murderers of palestinians and the occupiers of al aqsa, to husni mubarak (egypt) that was a major help to israel in the war on gaza, and killed and imprisoned anyone who tried to help the palestinians through the egyptian borders, to the rest of the arab nations that have the same president for more than 30 years, and are doing nothing to help islam or muslims, and are spreading injustice in the lands.. what is your advice to the people of these countries? should they wait for the right time? or act now? should they wait for a change of heart from their rulers? or realize that it has been decades of injustice and that positive change is not going to happen on its own, and that action has to be taken, and taken sooner than later, because the more they wait, the more desperate the situation is becoming..

even if you dont recognize the event of ashura as significant to islam, at least learn from it that those who follow the way you are proposing, are living in the worst and most unjust conditions, and those who followed the way of imam hussein, are free, strong, dignified, and dont import their protection and honor from the enemies of islam.

Hind sight is 20/20 Imam Hussain's opponents were bent on destroying him so if not in the battle of Karbala there might have been some other incident. Who knows, but Allah what errors were committed and how he could have been saved from such a death

You're not wiser than Imam Hussein. He knew he was going to be betrayed and he knew he was going to die a martyr. It was his destiny.

What happened happened and Imam Hussein is the Lord of the Martyrs.

    بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

Wow you want to say "the chief of youths of the heaven(Jannah)" as holy prophet said made mistake and you sapient find his mistake?!

Why did prophet said “I am Hussein's and Hussein is mine” because he knew that his grandson would suicide himself (as you are telling us)!

Do you think if he had stayed in Medina and homaged to Yazeed LA,anyone nowadays knew him and Ahlulbayt SA?Anyone knew the real path of islam?

Or like what Muawiah LA did (by using nifaq) they would have made fake hadith and falsify the real religion like what happened in other religions?

Allah has promised that he would protect Islam and his Kalema(in Quran),how?by the action of a chosen family, family of Muhammad.

IF HE HAD STAYED IN MEDINNA,WE WOULD DRINK WINE NOWADAYS(LIKE WHAT YAZEED WAS DOING) ABANDON SALAH(LIKE WHAT YAZEED WAS DOING)AND ...

*maybe some idiots doubt that why didnt Hasan AS fight against Muawiah LA?

-(my answer in brief and we will enlighten you about it later inshaallah)because he was munafiq and most ordinary people thuoght he was a muslim but Yazeed was a immoral man and he was reportted and most muslims knew this fact..

the Superiority of ahlulbayt is in their insight(which Allah has given them)

By their true action you can see not only shia, but also sunnis and also non-muslims confirm he was right...

It is difficult to judge the situation at this stage. His error was that he trusted Kufis in such serious issues.

It was already destined for Hussain (r.a) to be matyred at Karbala.

    ''Martyrdom Was Well-Known

The martyrdom of Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu was well known since his childhood. His blessed parents and many companions knew that one day he would be sacrificed and receive the highest degree of martyrdom.

The wife of Hazrat Abbas, Hazrat Ummul Fadhl RadiyAllahu Anhum says, ‘One day I visited RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam. I saw Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu sitting in his blessed lap and noticed the constant flow of tears from the eyes of RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam. I pleaded, May my parents be sacrificed upon you Ya RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, what is the matter?’ He replied:

‘Jibraeel came to me and informed that one day my Ummah will kill this son of mine.’ Ummul Fadhl enquired, ‘will they kill Imam Hussain?’ RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam confirmed, ‘Yes, and Jibraeel even gave me the sand of the field where he will be martyred.’ [Mishkat]

Hazrat Anas RadiyAllahu Anhu reports that the Angel of rain asked permission of Allah Ta’ala to pay his respects to RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam. When he arrived he saw Imam Hussain sat in the lap of RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam who was cuddling and kissing him. The Angel enquired, ‘Hussain is most dear to you? Your Ummah will one day kill him. If you wish I can show you the field where he will be sacrificed.’ The Angel then got some sand from the field which Ummul Mu’mineen Hazrat Umme Salma RadiyAllahu Anha set aside in a safe place. In one narration it states that RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam handed over the sand to Hazrat Umme Salma RadiyAllahu Anha and prophesised, ‘O Umme Salma, when this sand turns into blood then be certain that my son Hussain has been martyred.’ Hazrat Umme Salma says, ‘I stored the sand in a bottle and saw that on the day Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu was martyred, it turned to blood.’

Hazrat Sha’bi reports that at the time of the war of Siffin, he and Hazrat Ali RadiyAllahu Anhu passed through the plains of Karbala. At the banks of river Euphrates, Hazrat Ali stopped and enquired as to the name of the place. People said that it was called Karbala. As soon as he heard the word ‘Karbala’, a river of tears began to flow from his eyes which drenched the area around him. Then he said, ‘Once I came to RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam and saw tears in his eyes. I enquired the reason for it and he replied, ‘Jibraeel just came to me and informed me…:

My son Hussain will be martyred at the banks of river Euphrates at a place called Karbala and he even showed me the sand from there.’ [Khutbaat e Muharram]

My beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam’s beloved devotees, it is clear from the above narrations that RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam prophesised the martyrdom of Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu right from his childhood. Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatima RadiyAllahu Anhum along with other members of family and companions knew that Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu would one day be killed and even knew where. But none of them prayed or requested RasoolAllah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam to pray for Imam Hussain to be protected from this calamity. This is because they were aware that Imam Hussain RadiyAllahu Anhu would be tested and it was more appropriate to pray for steadfastness in trials, rather than to be spared from it. ''
