No Games Found on Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Xbox)?

Before anybody claims my internet connection is poor, or I've failed to set up Xbox Live properly, please know every other game - Call of Duty, Red Dead, Forza, etc. - works flawlessly with ZERO lag. Now for my problem. When I attempt to play multiplayer on Battlefield Bad Company 2, I receive the infamous "No games found, please try again" message 95% of the time.

I've called EA for support and I was told the issue was most likely my router blocking specific ports in which the game required to play. EA provided me with the ports to open, so I configured my router and opened the ports provided. Even after this, I still cannot find any games.

What's really confusing me about all this is that I can find games with ease at my friends house. And from what I've been told, we have the same router! (Linksys E1000)

Could there be a firewall setting that is prohibiting me from finding games? If so, why are no other games affected? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I played BFBC2 sometimes with the annoying lag issue but was always able to find a game, that was until I installed Medal of Honor. MOH wouldn't let me connect to a multiplayer at first so tried again by resetting ps3 then it worked, but then when I tried to play BFBC2 again it came up with "no games found" no matter what game I tried.

Before anyone says it is a problem with Internet connection I was able to get around the problem by joining a friends game.

Seems to me because both games are EA/Dice there's an issue with the console being confused into trying to login to the wrong servers (incompatible) therefore no games found.

To get around it I went back to MOH and played another game then quit game properly. Exited disc then reset ps3 as I put BFBC2. I know yours is xbox but I believe it's the same problem and dice need to release an update for this, however I'm sticking with BFBC2 as MOH is rubbish MW running about like a headless chicken stuff.

It happens to me almost all the time now since last yesterday. Though, I play BC2 on the Playstation 3, it seems that the problem might just be the servers. The best thing I always do when this happens is just restart the game once, or probably twice. That somehow works out for me.
