Any Easyjet booking was made with my 1st, 2nd and family name - 3rd name missing...,?

Any Easyjet booking was made with my 1st, 2nd and family name - 3rd name missing..., So the name on my boarding pass and passport are not identical. First and family name correct, but the paperwork is not an identical match. Is this going to be a problem? Do I need to change the name on the booking (and pay the fee)? The flight is in just a few days, so I need to know quite soon. Thanks for your help.

Update:

I'm getting consistent advice that middle names don't need to be used when making a booking. In this case the person making the booking did use one, but not both - so the boarding pass is not a perfect match with the passport. I believe it should be okay, but I don't know...and Easyjet have a particular reputation.

Thanks.

Update 2:

A similar case would be useful to me to be able to compare.

As long as your family name and first name is correct, you're ok.

It's only on US-bound flights where everything must be 100%. Europe flights are a bit more relaxed.

You do not need to change the name. That will be considered a close enough match.

No you are fine as long as your first and surnames are correct, 2nd and 3rd names don't matter.

Source(s): My flights are always booked just using first and surname.
