Is Venice Mestre Safe? What are the attraction around?
I am going Venice in coming May. I will be visiting Venice and i have booked two night accommodation at Venice Mestre.
As i am reaching at night at Venice Mestre, I would like to know is this town safe at night?
Is it recommended to stay at this town instead of Venice. Otherwise do you have any nice budget hotel to recommend for Venice? We are trying to avoid carrying luggage to cross the bridge when reaching Venice.. Thanks.

oh man ,mestre is one of the most ugly places in all italy and there s nothing 2 visit... near the station s not that safe but just don t look around with the typical tourist exression like:''i m lost''! u should look 4 some hostel in venice or go to treviso that s close 2 venice and is nice to visit as well.or verona that s romeo n juliet city and it s really nice!
