My brother has the first update it does not show his refund amount..I have the generic blah blah with the refund amount has anyone ever come across this situation..

All it is, is there was some reason that the IRS could not get your refund sent out by the time it was expected to be sent. There is nothing that can be done about it. You just have to wait. Nothing major, just a short processing delay.

was it updated just now? did you file with turbotax? IRS has had delays for millions of fillers. basically their computers crashed and they need more time to process returns.

you should recieve your refund today ..i had the same delay message last week and this morning i checked and its there! good luck!
