Tax on the super rich continues to fall yet what bearing does this have on GW?

I suppose it could allow them to burn more fossil fuels and spend more lobbying against carbon tax and/or cap&trade which may affect their investments, but really I don't see any real or direct connection.

I guess you aren't aware of what percentage of total income the top 10% of earners are ...um earning.

Not exactly. The problem is that the rich are getting much richer while the middle class on down are stagnant or less well off.

Not quite. There is a necessity for deductions (for instance, children, education, etc.), just not the massive tangle that we have now.

Oh, I agree, though I would go 0% up to an agreed-upon poverty level and then up to 30% by the time you reach $1 mil/year. Of course, I would also graduate capital gains tax or simply count capital gains as regular income...

Appointed by *your* elected officials. You do know that *you* can contact your representatives, right? *You* can even vote them out on the next election cycle... Oh wait, they will probably only listen now to corporate interests who are able to now pay unlimited amounts of moneys to advance the campaigns of those candidates who best serve their interests. Of course, you can still write to them and let them know that if they are significantly corporate sponsored, you won't vote for them.

ill tell you exactly whats gonna happen.

the corporations will get even stronger.

which means, they will stop caring even more about the environment because the money is just gonna keep flowing through their bank accounts. so they will be blinded by that paper that can only buy you materials..

the super rich will keep making that money, so oil companies are gonna keep drilling, the epa will continue to be destroyed. and eventually i will sound even crazier for caring about the world because greed will be the only thing that matters to people. poverty will hit americans harder than it ever has, OH BUT SINCE THE MEDIA will just tell people the economy is getting better. the ignorant people will just be like "yeah! my money is gonna come back through lets go on vacation honey!"

then when they realize that they dont have money to do anything they will think they're life sucks so people will be stressed and depressed.

The super rich dont care about the rest of the country though, because guess what? they dont feel the pain.

this country is about to fall to its knees and have to beg for mercy from the world because the super rich only account for so many people.

there is already so many stressed out Americans that cant even enjoy their lives because they have to ALWAYS worry about having to make more money to put food on the table.

Basically with tax on the super rich continuing to fall. THE WHOLE ENVIRONMENT/ GLOBAL WARMING TOPIC WILL DISSOLVE AND SOON MOTHER EARTH WILL HAVE TO WIPE US OUT BECAUSE MONEY BLINDED US FROM WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT AND HAS DESTROYED THIS WORLD. like the good old saying goes.. money is the root of all evil & my absolute favorite.. Money cant buy life.

you know 50% of the people in the usa pay no taxes at all, so stop blaming the rich for your problems

and the top 1% pay 40% of all usa taxes.
