Ramadan: can a blind Muslim lead a obligatory salah?

    yes.I am sure not any of them have a problem with it.

    Hanafi:It is disliked to appoint an imam who is a slave, a transgressor, a blind man, and an illegitimate child, but if they took the lead, it is valid

    Salam Muslim who leads an obligatory salah is called as imam which means leader.

    Leader or imam should be selected among jamahs who attended the mandatory salah which meets its requirements (1)has good knowledge and good practice in applying the Qur'an and hadith (2)his voice in reading the surah of Qur'an is good (3)older as local dweller surrounding

    If the blind muslim could meet those criteria he could be appointed as imam or leader of mandatory salah

    We have one BIG imam in our city and he was blind all his life 60 y,o, .

    Every body respect him and love him for knowledge and patience.
