Alienware M14x Speaker Lights Not Working?

Question

So I literally just got my M14x today and was excited that it came in earlier than the expected delivery date. However, turned the laptop on and noticed that the right speaker light wasn't working. So called in, and asked what I should do. Here are the options they gave me: 

a.) Have a specialist with the parts to come out to replace the light.

b.) Send it in and kid you not, they replied that if I sent it in they would probably send me back a refurbished one. (Uhm, I just ordered a brand new laptop with specific customizing, how do you send me a refurbished one instead of a brand new one like I just ordered)

c.) Buy a completely new laptop and return the old one for a full refund. Of course, the specialist also suggested I upgrade to the m17x which would be more expensive but he was willing to give me discounts (credit of $200 + throwing in a bigger hard drive for no additional cost, though not much bigger than what I have in my 14x, along with the same wi-fi card that I have in the m14x) 

Honestly, I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? 

(And has anyone had the same problem with their front lights or any lights not working?)

i know how you must feel and i know it is not good. if it was me i would return it and get a new one...
