Wanting to transfer VHS to DVD?

I transferred one VHS tape to DVD using a MyGica Capit adapter, but it is a real pain. I think I need to buy a VHS/DVD unit with dubbing capabilities. I know these have been out for a long time, but I don't know which of the new units would be the best to buy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Obviously I would like to buy a unit that is not so expensive. As an alternative, since I have a VHS player, I could just buy a DVD recorder and connect the two. Would this work and what DVD recorder would you suggest?

you're able to do it your self in case you have the time with a software like dvd to vhs 5.0 or you will possibly be considered one of my first actual clientele for a decreased fee. I convert vhs to dvd, ipod, youtube... for 3.ninety 5 a video with a bulk low fee, yet for my first month, this is July, i'm searching for greater commercial than income.
