How would you react if your friend...?

Depression is complicated and has no easy answers, cutting makes her feel good and in control, because depression has so much stigma about it, its hard for people with depression to talk, just let her know you are there if she needs to talk about anything and just listen, dont judge, dont give her answers to her questions, just say I would handle that this way, do you think it would work for you, or do you have any ideas on how you would like it to work out.......try and give answer or raise questions that will encourage her to talk, not ones with yes or no answers

Its tough, but at least she has one friend who cares, thats a start

Depression is not that they want it, its a condition and its tough to control, so please be understanding. I'll take her out for something she really likes to eat or play. And then talk to her about her life, whats been depressing her lately, and her cutting problems.

I would probably she shocked and feel sad for her and would give her a LONGG hug. I would ask her what's all her depression about so she would release some stress and she would feel better after telling someone. I would also say that i'll always be there for her when she needs help and that she can't trust u (:

it's not a big deal, because she's hurt so you shouldn't be rude

unless she's stuckup and you mention something she will go nuts.
