Gain Matching my amp?

Can anyone tell me what is the subwoofer output of a DEH-7300bt pioneer. I read the manual and it says max pre-out is 2.0v. Is that the sw output and does that mean I set my gain at 2.0?

yes and no. if you set the amp the same as your headunit then that will keep you from clipping but will not get you the max out of your amp. by setting your amp to the same volt as the headunit then that will be equivalent to using a 0 db tone. most music will never get to that point. i usually use a -10 db tone for my personal self. you can also playa song that you know is loud and turn the headunit to the volume of disired listening level then turn the amp up until it gets loud enough for you or you hear distortion. if you hear distortion back it off until you dont hear it, then to be safe back it off a little more.
