Hifonics BRZ to BRX good?

So I fired my BRZ1700 and luckily I had a warranty on in. But maxxsonic is saying that they discontinued the BRZ1700 and I have to accept the new line BRX1600. Now I'm thinking new line sounds good but 1700 to 1600 watts.... I guess it's not THAT bad. But I'm looking all over the Internet and there are no videos reviews or any personal encounters with the brx line other than sellers putting up the numbers. Does anyone know anything about these amps and am I getting away with a good deal switching from the brz1700 to the brx1600?

In all honesty, you will not be able to tell the difference. And on top of that, what can you do?

Hifonics is a good brand and I trust their equipment. I have 2 of their GLX amps running my stuff now. Happy with it.

That amp will do just fine. I have one CVX myself with a hifonics brutus 1600d mono. HIts real nice. However, those subs could handle more and will be under powered. But the amp is great, not only do I use hifonics, but I have friends that compete and win and they also approve of the amp. Your alt/batt should be just fine. The amp isn't big enough to draw that much power, however, those subs might over power it....maybe.
