Universities in Japan...?

I am interested in majoring in either psychology or a major relating to physical therapy.

I am also interested in going to a university in Japan, like Todai, Keio, Waseda, etc. (getting admitted is another story)

So, I was wondering if there were any universities around Tokyo that offered these majors in English.

I am Japanese so I am fluent in Japanese, but probably not to the point where I will be able to follow the lectures.

And if there aren't any universities that offer these majors in English, are there any options for me to study in Japan? (NOT as an exchange student, but as an international student)

Also, how hard would it be to get accepted as a student from outside Japan?

Thank you!

Those majors aren't possible in English.

If you are 100% Japanese, I think Nagoya can accept you on its G30 program (http://admissions.g30.nagoya-u.ac.jp/en/ ). I don't think any other G30 university can though.

Other options would be Akita International University, Asia Pacific University, maybe some of the private universities (International Christian Univresity?).

If you have dual nationality, I think any G30 university can accept you (http://www.uni.international.mext.go.jp/ )

Generally, it's easier to be accepted as a G30 student than a regular Japanese student, since you don't have to do the entrance exam the Japanese applicants do.

perhaps this might help. Your thought of mech eng and gaining awareness of jap is a tremendous plan. once you finished your AA, circulate to a college with a Mech Eng application and a jap language application. I advise to bypass into the language application and seem for an substitute application. in the process the language branch, you could learn twelve months at a college in Japan. The mech eng learn could be positioned on carry for that twelve months. once I went to the college, my language branch presented a a million year application. I declined, yet 3 of my classmates entered that application. They got here back twelve months later and resumed instructions with us. the adult men who had double majors or substantial/minors had to renew their different direction paintings twelve months in the back of. they say it replaced right into a good journey for them.
