I am interested in majoring in either psychology or a major relating to physical therapy.

I am also interested in going to a university in Japan, like Todai, Keio, Waseda, etc. (getting admitted is another story)

So, I was wondering if there were any universities around Tokyo that offered these majors in English.

I am Japanese so I am fluent in Japanese, but probably not to the point where I will be able to follow the lectures.

And if there aren't any universities that offer these majors in English, are there any options for me to study in Japan? (NOT as an exchange student, but as an international student)

Also, how hard would it be to get accepted as a student from outside Japan?

I've been emailing a couple friends who live in Japan, and I recently got an email from a friend I haven't talked to in a while. I replied to her, but the email wasn't sent.

She uses XXXXX@ezweb.ne.jp address, but so do all my other friends and emails to them are sent perfectly fine.

I've tried sending it with live.com (hotmail) and yahoo.co.jp (Yahoo Japan) but neither of them work.

Does anyone know why it's not being sent?

Also, would I be able to send a message via my iPhone 4 SMS to my friend's cell phone email address in Japan?

I am trying to send a couple of packages-- some inside the US and some to Japan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. I'm in no rush to send it; as long as it gets to its destination safely I'm ok. I am not sure of the differences between the types of mail services and which one would be best. Also, if I go to the post office, which one would they recommend me?

I need to send a few packages to my friends in the US, Japan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. The packages are already wrapped and have the address on it. If I stick on enough stamps to be sent to my friends and leave it in my mailbox, will the mailman take the package? Some of my packages are small, and some are big.

If not, do I have to take all of my packages to the nearest post office to send it?

I'm Japanese and I'd like to read some Japanese shojo mangas, especially the ones from Margaret Publications. (i.e. Switch Girl, etc.)

I know there are lots of DL sites out there, but the ones I'm looking for are never there.

I just arrived in Japan yesterday and I'm going to Tokyo Dome tomorrow to buy some Arashi concert goods. The sale starts at 7:00 AM, but obviously I need to go earlier so I won't have to line up as long. I want to arrive there at around 5:30 AM, but I don't know what the earliest train is. I am currently using the free version of webs.com (since I am still not old enough to pay myself) and it seems like it is starting to run out of storage. So, I was thinking of switching over to a different site and I need recommendations. I would like something that is closely related to the format of webs.com. I own a community page on Facebook and I usually update the status through my iPod touch. But recently, when I type on my itouch, it posts it as me (myself), and not as the name of the page. For example, it is supposed to be posted as "嵐 Arashi", but it is posted with my name instead. I used to be able post statuses on the page but now I can't...does anyone know how to fix it?

Arashi's Nino and actor Matsuyama Kenichi are going to star in this movie, and I personally think it's a great casting! Nino and Matsuyama-san are both great actors, so I don't see what the big problem is.

Many people are opposing the movie because...

1. They think that being suitable for general audiences, there will be less violence, which they think will "ruin the reputation of the manga"

2. Most people sterotype Arashi members as gay, so they don't think Nino is suited for the character.

3. Not many people know how amazing of an actor Nino and Matsuyama-san actually is.

4. They think that since Death Note (starring Matsuyama-san) wasn't good, they think the same will happen for GANTZ.

5. Other reasons that they state about the movie being suckish.

Well, here's a small side note:

CNN wrote an article about Japanese actors who can actually act. Out of about 7 actors/actresses they listed, Nino was one of them.

I'm not trying to be rude to people who oppose the casting, but I just want to know everyone's honest opinions. I understand that the people reading the manga might not like it being turned into a live action movie, but they way they get their points across is very rude and disrespectful to the actors/actresses, me, and everyone else who is waiting for the movie. If you do oppose the movie, I would like to hear your opinions about it and why you don't like it. Of course, I welcome happy opinions as well. I just want to know what everyone is thinking about this.

I just got really furious because everyone is saying "this movie will be screwed up" and other things and they HAVEN'T even seen the movie yet. I would like for them to wait to comment AFTER the movie is in theaters.

I take ballet classes everyday pretty much for the whole day. I go to a pre-professional Russian taught Vagonova school and for our summer intensive, professionals from Bolshoi and Kirov/Mariinsky came to teach.

During class, my right shin bone started hurting really bad and it's getting a tiny bit better, but it hurts painfully every time I touch it.

First of all, is this a shin splint? If so, what are the causes and fixes to them?
