lawn edger that STILL has a guide to prevent the blade from hitting sidewalk?
Is there still such a thing as an edger (price up to $1,000) that has the guide next to the blade to prevent it from hitting the sidewalk, thus preventing extra wear and tear on blade.... and to prevent sparks. My last craftsman professional lawn edger from 9 years ago had one. But my edger was stolen last week (probably because of that feature). Does ANYBODY make a commercial lawn edger (4 stroke) that includes the guide?
That is a no brainer.... I chedcked the Craftsman website months ago. I'm not looking for an answer from someone who is just guessing... Someone who has purchased a lawn edger recently WITH the guard that keeps the blade about 1/8th of an inch away from sidealks and driveway cement. If you have an edger over7 years old, I can guarentee that it HAS this guide. They all did years ago. But if you've purchased one within the past year that has one, I'd like to know where you got it.. The Craftsman web site doesn't even have a guide in their parts list... or as an accessory.
