Formerly known as "Angry Cingular User"! Started my profession in the U.S. Navy in 1970 when I was temporarily assigned to the Little Creek Naval Photographic Laboratory in Little Creek, VA. A short time later I was sent to the Navy School of Photography in Pensacola, FL where I graduated and was promoted to Photographer's Mate Third Class. II worked with every film format in existance from cinematography in 16mm to 20 x 24 inch room sized Brooks copy cameras and every format in between... 70mm, 2 1/4 x 2 3/4, and large format view cameras from 4 x 5 to 20 x 24. I left the Navy in 1980 but continued to work part time as a professional photographer on a regular basis. In October of 2009 I retired from my full time job with AT&T and am now re-pursuing photography... NOW on a full time basis again! I eat, drink, breathe, sleep, and dream photography!! I always have!! Recently I have gone ALL digital, foregoing mixing smelly chemicals (especially color!), running t

3 AnswersDrama2 years agoHow far will a bullet travel from a rifle on the moon, given a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second at the perfect 45 degree angle?
With the moons curvature much greater than earth, and 1/6th the gravity... and no atmosphere, how far would the bullet travel? I would venture to guess at least 80 miles, Maybe well over 120 miles. regardless of the weight of the bullet. If you took physics in school you would already realize THAT! Can anyone with fresh training in physics. I know the firing angle would be 45 degrees in a vacuum. On earth Ideal angle would be around 23 or 24 degrees.

2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry4 years agoAre there such things as tranquilizer darts for humans.... something safe? Or is that the problem?
I don't recall ever hearing of police using tranquilizer darts on humans. Probably because it's too dangerous for the target?..... pepper spray or tear gas?? Just wondering if the Dallas Police could have used some other method to disable this shooter.

2 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products5 years agoEqualizer settings while listening to internet radio?
I listen to several different internet radio sites besides Pandora and I-Heart Radio. How do I change the sound settings to boost bass or treble. I use Windows 10 but it does not appear that these stations I listen to use the Windows Media Player. When I bring up the WMP while listening to music, there's nothing being played back on the Player. Is there any way to change the sound settings on the sound coming from my laptop or desktop?

2 AnswersVideo & Online Games7 years agolawn edger that STILL has a guide to prevent the blade from hitting sidewalk?
Is there still such a thing as an edger (price up to $1,000) that has the guide next to the blade to prevent it from hitting the sidewalk, thus preventing extra wear and tear on blade.... and to prevent sparks. My last craftsman professional lawn edger from 9 years ago had one. But my edger was stolen last week (probably because of that feature). Does ANYBODY make a commercial lawn edger (4 stroke) that includes the guide?

3 AnswersDesktops9 years agoColor Management with Nikon DSLR, Capture NX2, and Photoshop CS(x)?
First, if you don't know when and why you would disable color management on your professional color printer, and if you don't edit RAW images, you won't know the answer to this problem. I shoot with an upper end Nikon DSLR in RAW 14 bit mode. I do set the color space to Adobe RGB (never sRGB), even though I believe color space is ignored when saving an NEF RAW image. I never shoot JPEGs. I always save in RAW mode as well after editing RAW images with Nikon Capture NX2. I want to also work my images in Photoshop CS4 using Pro Photo RGB color space. I KNOW to set my printer to allow Photoshop to control the color space, and not the printer. What color space settings should I use for Capture NX2 and Photoshop in order to get the highest quality color. Should I limit Photoshop to Adobe RGB (1998). Ah needs sum hep! :)
4 AnswersPhotography10 years agoHooking up 3 computers with 2 printers through LinkSys wifi router?
I have 3 computers:
1 dell desktop operating on Windows Vista
1 dell desktop running Windows 7
1 laptop computer running Windows 7 (WiFi built in).
BOTH desktops will be HARDWIRED to a brand new LinkSys E4200 Wireless N router via Ethernet cables while the laptop will connect to the router via WiFi.
I also have two brand new printers:
1 consumer WiFi all in one printer will be used for all three computers for documents via wireless through the router.
1 professional printer for photographs will be hardwired to the router via a "Straight Through" Ethernet cable.
This should work, right? Would there be any problem setting up my network this way?
Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated!
